Join the Scituate Land Trust for a Saturday morning walk through Lawton Farm!
Scituate Land Trust members will guide visitors around this prize conservation area near the Scituate Reservoir. Together we will cross the new footbridge on a leisurely walk on the perimeter trail around the fields and a brief loop through the woods.
Managed primarily as a grassland bird sanctuary, Lawton Farm has been improved recently through a Department of Environmental Management grant. The new entrance kiosk carries educational information and features bird illustrations colored on ceramic tiles by children from the Hope after school program.
This event is free and suitable for all ages. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and sun screen! No pets allowed during nesting season.

Directions: From Scituate Avenue (Rt. 12), head south on Seven Mile Road 6/10 of a mile. Lawton Farm entrance is on your right.
