Hunts Mills Historic Tour

September 11, 2022 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

The East Providence Conservation Commission (with the Ten Mile River Watershed Council) hosts a walk along the trails of Hunts Mills in collaboration with the East Providence Historical Society on the second Sunday of each month when the John Hunt House & Museum is open to the public. The walk is just under a mile and winds along the Ten Mile River. We stop at several spots on the property and talk about the rich and diverse history of the property and the surrounding area from the 1600’s to present day.

Important parking information: From Providence, 195 East to Exit 2C (Pawtucket Avenue/Seekonk). At end of exit turn right onto Warren Avenue (Route 6 West).
