Join Aquidneck Land Trust to learn about migratory bird research at this special Walk & Talk at Bailey Brook in Middletown!
This free tour and bird banding demonstration will be led by Aquidneck Land Trust former Board Chair and Salve Regina professor Jim Chace. We will walk together to the mobile bird banding station and see what Jim catches!
Bailey Brook is a primary source of drinking water for Middletown and Newport residents, and serves as habitat for several migratory bird species. The Aquidneck Land Trust worked in partnership with the Town of Middletown to preserve the parcel of land buffering Bailey Brook.
Parking is limited so please carpool.
If vaccinated, no masks are required. If you are unvaccinated, please wear a mask.
