We&#8217;ll walk up to the old dairy barn, which TNC acquired in 2019, and then stroll out through a series of hayfields, passing three historic cemeteries along the way. After returning to the barn, we&#8217;ll continue the hike around Tillinghast Pond.<\/p>\n<p>Total distance: 4.5 miles. Difficulty: moderate, for distance and occasional small hills. Restrooms available. Dogs are not permitted.<\/p>\n<p>Tillinghast Pond is TNC&#8217;s largest nature preserve in Rhode Island.
