Learn about Pardon Gray Preserve&#8217;s history and hike the beautiful trails that surround the open farm field. Hike will begin at 10:00 AM and will take about two hours. Hiking is moderate with some easy fields and some uphill, rocky trails.<\/p>\n<p>Pardon Gray Preserve is the reason the Tiverton Land Trust was formed in 1996. A dedicated group of Tiverton residents worked to save this 229-acre farm from the development of 88 residential houses. Pardon Gray and his family, who farmed the fields for most of his life, are buried within the property&#8217;s historic cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>This event is FREE (but donations are welcome!) and suitable for all ages. Leashed dogs welcome (Dog waste must be picked up and carried out).<\/p>\n<p>We will hike in any weather except in more severe rain or dangerous weather.
