The park features nature trails, picnic areas, and a playground. The tower, completed in 1929, was designed by the renowned architectural firm of McKim, Mead &amp; White.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\">The historic tower will be open for FREE every Saturday from 11 am &#8211; 2 pm from June 15 through August.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\"><strong>Directions and Parking<\/strong>: 120 Hillside Ave, Newport, RI 02840.
