From the cardinal flowers in the lowlands, to overlooking treetops from the &#8220;cliff,&#8221; this walk is sure to be a delight!<\/p>\n<p>The property contains 600 acres of rugged forest preserved by the joint efforts of The Nature Conservancy, Tiverton Open Space Commission, and Tiverton Land Trust. We\u2019ll stroll through a delightfully accessible wetland, make the climb to oak-huckleberry barrens on the rocky highlands, explore a rich basin of towering oaks, then make our way to the \u201ccliff\u201d overlooking a sheer, ninety-foot drop to a red maple-yellow birch swamp.<\/p>\n<p>Please make sure you are well-prepared for rugged trails, a bit of a climb, and an invigorating experience in East Bay\u2019s wildest forest &#8211; bring water, bug spray, and comfortable walking\/hiking shoes.
