Fascinated by insects? \u00a0Come to historic Borders Farm<\/strong>, 31 North Road, Foster on Saturday, September 29\u00a0for a hands-on learning experience for the whole family. \u00a0Explore the farm and discover the insects that live there in this fun and inspiring workshop on the Basics of Bugs! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Melissa Guillet, an interdisciplinary art teacher and environmental advocate, will conduct the workshop. \u00a0Melissa has been involved with both URI’s pilot Eco-Exploration Camp and the Audubon Society\u2019s Schoolyard Science for an Urban Eco-System and was named Environmental Educator of the Year in 2012. \u00a0She continues to be recognized for her program development and dedication to environmental literacy and has received multiple recognition awards from the East Providence School Department. <\/span><\/p>\n

Pre-Registration Required<\/b><\/p>\n

Melissa will conduct one session from 11:00am to 12:00noon. \u00a0Cost is $10.00 per family, pre-registration is required and enrollment is limited. To register or for more information, email\u00a0<\/span>2bordersfarm2@gmail.com<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
