Adult participants will learn how to row a 4 oared dory or a 6 oared pilot gig from two experienced coxswains. Participants will row a mile to Warren Land Trust’s property Jacob’s Point, where the boats will be beached and the rowers will have a chance to explore and learn about Jacob’s Point beach and salt marsh ecology. Participants will then row back to the wharf. Please wear water shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and a hat. Gloves to protect your hands when rowing are helpful. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, and a snack, and binoculars to view bird life. Participants are required to wear a PFD which will be provided. 10 spaces are available.<\/p>\n

The Wharf is on Water Street between State and Washington St. Parking is limited on the wharf. Please follow the signs. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n
