SUMMARY:Striped Maple Hike
DESCRIPTION:Location: Chepachet\nJoin Glocester Land Trust for a 2 ½ mile walk on five new trails in the Klutz Woodland area of the 1278 acre Sprague Farm Town Forest. \nAmong the sights will be lots of stone walls\, a mid 1800’s farmhouse foundation and chimney\, groups of the rare Striped Maple tree\, and old gravel roads unchanged for 200 years. \nThe walk will take about two hours. Some of the walk will pass through muddy areas so everyone should wear appropriate footwear. \nDogs are welcome but they must be leashed and social. No aggressive dogs. It is not yet hunting season\, so orange clothing is not necessary. \nRain Date: None. Rain/thunderstorms may cancel this walk. Updates will be shared on the Facebook & Meetup event pages. \nQuestions?
