SUMMARY:Walking Tour of Morning Star Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join Land Conservancy of North Kingstown naturalists for a walk of Morning Star Farm\, a working horse farm. As a privately owned farm\, this is a rare opportunity to celebrate its conservation and learn about the plants\, animals\, and geology of the region. \nThe walk will be about 1 mile in length\, over uneven terrain. Please plan to be outdoors (e.g.\, wear sturdy walking shoes\, sunscreen and bug spray; bring a water bottle). No dogs allowed. \nThe event is free but please register ahead. Space is limited.\nEvent will occur unless there are heavy rains where the event will ne rescheduled to 9/25. Turn into the driveway; there is a parking lot on the left before you enter the property.
