DESCRIPTION:Location: Cranston\nJoin the West Bay Land Trust for a Saturday morning walk through the woods! \nCome take a walk and experience the beautiful 1.5 mile trail\, through woodlands\, past a nearby brook\, and along a cultivated field. This time of year\, the air is filled with the aroma of the blooming native summersweet! \nThis event is free and suitable for all ages. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes\, and bring along water and sunscreen! \nIn the event of rain\, the walk will take place on Sunday\, August 11 from 10-11am. SUMMARY:Knight Farm Hike
DESCRIPTION:The West Bay Land Trust invites you through a guided walk through the historic Knight Farm conservation lands in western Cranston. The newly opened Knight Farm Trail wends its way through woodlands and historic farm areas\, some of which are still under active cultivation. This rustic Trail crosses a short small bridge and we strongly recommend wearing long pants and using bug spray.\nWe will meet at the trailhead at Laten Knight Road and Beechwood Drive and cover the 1.5 mile loop through forest\, farm and woodland areas. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
