DESCRIPTION:Location: Little Compton\nJoin Sakonnet Preservation Association for a bird walk guided by Evan Lipton through woodlands in the heart of historic Adamsville! \nCome enjoy the scenery of the historic Guild Property at Grays Mill Pond on the border of Little Compton and Westport\, MA! Grays Mill Pond was dammed in the 1700s to power a nearby grist mill. Today Grays Grist Mill uses electric power but has been continuously grinding corn for over 360 years! \nThis event is FREE and suitable for all ages. Come prepared to walk on slightly rocky terrain – comfortable walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. \nIn the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms\, this walk will be canceled.
