SUMMARY:Labor Day Guided Walks at Blackall Family and Ballou Farm Preserves
DESCRIPTION:Location: Cumberland\nJoin the Cumberland Land Trust for a guided walk at the Blackall Family and Ballou Farm Preserves. You will have your choice of two guided walks – 1.5 miles or 3.0 miles in length. The trails\, many of which are new\, are easy to moderate in difficulty but include some medium sized hills and a bit of rock hopping. \nThis event is FREE and hikers of all ages are invited. \nPlease wear comfortable athletic or hiking shoes/boots. Drinking water and insect repellent are highly recommended. \nThough leashed dogs are normally allowed on Cumberland Land Trust managed properties\, out of respect for all the participants they will not be allowed on these guided hikes. \nRain Date: None. Heavy rain and/or thunderstorms will cancel the hike. Updates will be shared on the Facebook & Meetup events. \nQuestions? Post in the Facebook or Meetup event! \nDirections: The trailhead and parking are on West Wrentham Road in Cumberland\, 0.6 miles north of the West Wrentham Road intersection with Mendon Road.
