DESCRIPTION:Due to the high level of interest in land trust walks on Thanksgiving weekend\, please assist us in planning for these walks\, by changing your Facebook status to ‘going’ as soon as your plans to attend are set. Thank you! Rhode Island Land Trusts \nThe Westerly Land Trust invites you to join us for a special presentation and family hike at Wahaneeta Preserve! Jeanine Silversmith from RI Families In Nature and author of The Rhode Island Family Hiking Guide and Journal will share some tips for enjoying the great outdoors with children. Books will be available for purchase so you can start your own adventure journal! A portion of the proceeds from book sales will benefit the Westerly Land Trust. After the brief presentation\, we’ll hit the trails with Donna Anderson of EnCORE Fitness & Wellness to explore this enchanting woodland preserve. We’ll end with hot apple cider and “Make Your Own Trail Mix” in the cabin. \nQuestions? Do not park on the road.
