SUMMARY:Pocasset Ridge: Tiverton's New Protected Forest
DESCRIPTION:The Nature Conservancy\, Tiverton Land Trust and Tiverton Open Space Commission invites you to their newest addition to their protected forest\, Pocasset Ridge. The guided hike amid unfragmented forest will be hosted by John Berg of The Nature Conservancy in RI. The three conservation partners have acquired a new forest to protect for you to come enjoy. Plan to walk for 3.5 miles over rough and rocky ground\, there are some steep slopes. So make sure you are well-equipped with appropriate attire.\nTravel light but there are no services or conveniences in this forest tract. Birders especially welcome!\nReservations not necessary but the walk will leave promptly at 1:30 PM.
