SUMMARY:Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy Guided Hike
DESCRIPTION:Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department don’t want you to miss this Saturday walk with our guide from the Conservancy. Although Neutaconkanut is the only wild forest in Providence\, the hill has long been noted for its amazing assortment of trees and its history.\nDress for the day’s weather – be sure to wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes. This walk is free\, but we suggest a $5 per family donation to help support these events and the work of the Conservancy. No advance reservations required. Suitable for ages 5 and up. Dogs on leash are welcome. Insect repellant is also recommended year round as a precaution against ticks which carry Lyme Disease. SUMMARY:Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy Annual Fall Event
DESCRIPTION:Location: Providence\nThe Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department along with RI Land Trust Days and Blackstone Go! invite you to the Hill for their annual Fall Event featuring guided hikes\, toasting marshmallows\, live music\, fire truck tour and mounted police. You can even meet the kid goats from the Providence Parks Department. Learn the history of the hill and enjoy the view of the city of Providence. Bring your blanket or chair to sit on. If you have an instrument\, feel free to bring it along to the meadow where we will all relax and enjoy the panoramic view of Providence. \nAll ages event\, but the walk is most suitable for ages 5 and up.
