SUMMARY:Connecting about Climate: Community Conversations at Casey Farm
DESCRIPTION:The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is posting this event on behalf of Historic New England. For this event\, Historic New England requires that you register directly with them. Registration on Meetup does not confirm your attendance. Please register here. \nTalking about climate change can feel overwhelming—you’re not alone in feeling this way. While nearly 70% of Americans are concerned about climate change\, only 35% regularly discuss it with friends and family\, even when they share similar views. Yet\, these conversations are essential for driving change and building resilient communities. But how do we start them? That’s where you come in! \nJoin Joie Grandbois\, Historic New England’s Director of Sustainability at Casey Farm\, for an interactive workshop designed to help you navigate meaningful conversations about climate change. Through guided activities\, tools\, and shared experiences\, this workshop fosters connection and empowers personal action. \nREGISTER HERE.

SUMMARY:Cumberland Land Trust Labor Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Cumberland Land Trust for our Labor Day Hike at the Scott Brook and High Rock Preserves\, whose trails have recently been dramatically modified due to a high level of beaver activity.
