DESCRIPTION:The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is posting this event on behalf of South Kingstown Land Trust. For this event\, SKLT requires that you register directly with them. Please register here. \nCome join the Rhode Island Mycological Society in conjunction with the South Kingstown Land trust for a Mushroom Foray! \nBring water\, comfortable hiking shoes\, bug spray\, a basket/something to collect fungi with\, and your adventurous spirit! \nWe will meet at the Browning Woods trailhead for 10AM before heading into the woods to find and collect fungi for about an hour. Then we will head back to the ID table to identify and document our findings. \nPlease carpool if possible as the parking lot is not very large.\nChildren are always welcome but please NO DOGS.\nPlease be aware that this is not a foraging walk and we are not collecting mushrooms to eat them! This is to document species and to discuss their ecology.
