DESCRIPTION:The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is posting this event on behalf of the Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District. For this event\, ERICD requires that you register directly with them. Please register here. \nJoin the Eastern RI Conservation District for a tour of Hawn and Handsaw Farm! Hawk and Handsaw Farm is a small market farm located in Portsmouth\, RI\, that grows assorted vegetables\, edible flowers\, and medicinal herbs. During the tour we will hear about the history of the farm and the conservation practices they utilize to help the environment. We will be outdoors\, rain or shine\, so come dressed for the weather and walking over potentially uneven terrain. \nThis event is in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service Rhode Island.
