Please register here. \nJoin Revive the Roots for the 4th Annual Rootstock! Rootstock is a great way to experience the 23 acre Mowry Commons in Smithfield RI and slip into fall vibes. You choose your experience… \n\nBring a chair and blanket and let the music wash over you all day\nWander and explore… look at the bugs… look at the plants… look at the animals… take a tour\nLearn from our Share Space presenters about health and wellness\, nature based practices and sustainability\nFood by Tacofied! Vegetarian\, vegan and gluten free options will be on the menu.\nMeet our community partners\, the amazing folks building community and taking environmental action in Rhode Island\nMake things! Crafts and communal mural for kids and adult alike\n\nFestivities kick off at 12pm with bands starting at 1pm. Rootstock runs rain or shine and will only be canceled for severe weather conditions. We have plenty of space underneath the Community Garden Pavilion and the Main Stage tent. In the case of rain\, we recommend bringing an umbrella and wearing rain boots to fully explore and enjoy your Rootstock experience.

SUMMARY:Time & Space Mandala Workshop at Allin's Cove
DESCRIPTION:The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is posting this event on behalf of the Barrington Land Conservation Trust. For this event\, BCLT requires that you register directly with them. Please register here. \nJoin artist Beth Adoette as you walk a unique Land Trust property\, Allin’s Cove\, and create ephemeral nature mandalas in the landscape using only objects found at the site. Then\, with the help of some short introspective writing and meaningful discussion\, allow nature\, art\, and your own intuition to give you insight into your life at this moment in time and place. \nThe workshop costs $35/person. All registration fees benefit the presenting artist. The workshop is open to adults ages 18 and up. Please do not bring your pets as they may interfere with other people’s art on the ground. \nThis interesting eco-art wellness experience is an opportunity to connect with yourself\, nature\, and community all in a beautiful setting of tidal cove\, grassland\, and marsh. Mandalas are ephemeral and will not be taken home. Photographs are encouraged.
