DESCRIPTION:Registration required — see link below \nExplore the forest in full summer bloom at Crawley Preserve\, a beautiful trail shared between South Kingstown Land Trust and the Richmond Rural Preservation Land Trust. This hike will be led by Land Management Staff Thomas Meyer\, so you’ll be seeing the trail through the eyes of a full-time steward of the land! \nRoughly 2.5 miles over easy terrain. Kid-friendly. Binoculars and boots recommended. Dogs are not allowed on guided hikes. \nFree\, registration required as space is limited. Inclement weather cancels. \nRegister here. \nDirections: From Route 1 southbound take exit for Route 110 (Ministerial Rd.). Follow Ministerial Rd. for 5.9 miles to a light at the intersection of Route 138. Make a left and continue 3.3 miles to Upsquepaugh Rd. Turn right onto Old Usquepaugh Rd. and continue 0.1 mile\, passing a stone dam on the right\, then bear right onto Glen Rock Rd. Continue 0.3 mile to parking area on left.

SUMMARY:Coastal Coves Walk with the East Providence Conservation Commission
DESCRIPTION:Get your cameras out!! Get ready to see some birds!! Join the East Providence Conservation Commission for the 9th Annual Coastal Coves Walk. This 3 mile walk/hike starts at the Boyden Heights Conservation Area. We then follow the East Bay Bike Path by 3 coastal coves that are haven to birds such as egrets\, herons\, geese\, cormorants\, and many more. We will also venture into Kettle Point Park for a stop at the pier and into Squantum Woods to check out the newly developed trail. This walk will include three city parks as well as the bike path.
