DESCRIPTION:Location: Westerly\nPlease register in advance by emailing: lbarber@westerlylandtrust.org. \nJoin the Westerly Land Trust for a FREE Land Trust Days guided trail walk on October 7\, 2021 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM. Open to all ages & leashed dogs welcome! \nSuggested Adventure Ready Checklist:\n-Reusable water bottle\n-Bug repellent\n-Comfortable shoes\n-Layers of clothes\n-Color blaze orange \nThis walk on WLT’s 500-acre preserve is over primarily flat terrain often along the Pawcatuck River on clear\, wide trails. We will be able to see some newly discovered foundations. There is a gorgeous scenic view from the top of aptly named Big Hill\, which requires a bit of steep climbing. \nWalk Leader: Janice Fifer\nPlease sign up with Lauren Barber at lbarber@westerlylandtrust.org \nDue to COVID-19:\n-We recognize many people still have concerns about gathering; therefore\, please sign up with the designated hike leader\, so that person will know how many will be attending and cap the group size if necessary.\n-Maintain a safe and comfortable distance from other hikers.\n-Please bring a face mask in case it is needed. \nRain Date: None.
