DESCRIPTION:Location: Barrington\n**At this time\, we have reached capacity through our online registration. If you have already registered online at the Barrington Library website\, then you’re all set! \nIf you have not registered\, but are interested in joining the waitlist\, please contact Jessica D’Avanza\, the Community Engagement Librarian at jessicad@barringtonlibrary.org.** \n  \nJoin the Barrington Land Conservation Trust and the Barrington Public Library for a twilight paddle on Hundred Acre Cove! \nCome celebrate the summer with community members as we paddle around the Cove and up the Runnins River. The paddle will begin at 5:30pm and end around sunset. We hope to get a peek at the rising moon as well! \nTo plan for the weather\, we recommend wearing clothes/shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and bringing bug spray and a water bottle. Severe weather cancels the event. A life jacket is required for participation. \nBring your own kayak or canoe\, or rent one from Walker Farm Kayaks. DESCRIPTION:Location: Warren\nJoin The Warren Land Conservation Trust for an evening at Jacob’s Point Beach – the perfect spot in nature to build community and have fun singing together around a campfire! \nBring a song to teach\, learn a new song\, join in chorus\, or simply listen and enjoy. Be inspired by the sea and land and relax with friends both old and new as the day winds down. Jacob’s Point will delight your senses with a soft August breeze\, the rustle of salt marsh grass\, cool gentle waves\, the scent of wild roses and osprey in flight. \nThis event is FREE and suitable for all ages! If there is a chance of rain/bad weather\, check The Warren Land Conservation Trust Facebook page for updates. \nQuestions? We will meet there at 6pm and walk together down through the meadow to the East Bay Bike Path. Take a right heading north on the bike path. Take a left at the Warren Land Trust sign down the Jacob’s Point trail to the beach. DESCRIPTION:Location: Bristol\nJoin the Bristol Land Conservation Trust and Mount Hope Farm for a Full Moonrise Walk at this beautiful protected farm! \nParticipants will be able to enjoy the full brightness of the (almost) Full Moon rising over Mount Hope Bay. We will explore the early evening sky\, including the bright planets Jupiter and Saturn. We even may hear an owl or two\, see a shooting star or hear a coyote howl – every walk at the Farm has its dramatic moments! \nExcept for the final viewing location in the field\, walking will be on paved road. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bug spray. \nThis event is free and suitable for all ages. A $5 donation is suggested. \nIn the event of rain\, this event will be canceled.
