Thank you! Rhode Island Land Trusts \nTiverton Land Trust invites you to enjoy a hike led by Garry Plunkett for adults. You will have the chance to explore the trails in Tiverton’s newest nature preserve\, the Pocasset Ridge Conservation Area. This will be a vigorous outing on some moderate slopes – perfect for burning off calories while checking out trails in an amazing forest ecosystem. \nThe rocky trails are geared to the pace and abilities of adults. Dress to the weather and terrain and with a fluorescent orange vest/hat if possible. (Vests will be available on site.) DESCRIPTION:Due to the high level of interest in land trust walks on Thanksgiving weekend\, please assist us in planning for these walks\, by changing your Facebook status to ‘going’ as soon as your plans to attend are set. Thank you! Rhode Island Land Trusts \nTiverton Land Trust invites you to join them to #OptOutside along with your friends and neighbors for a post-Thanksgiving family hike along the trails of the Pardon Gray Preserve. The trails are easy to navigate\, so young children and oldsters alike will find the walk a good way to work off that extra slice of pumpkin pie from two days earlier. We will leave the Main Road parking area promptly at 2:00 and should return about 2:45. \nWear comfortable walking shoes and clothes appropriate for the day’s weather. Westbound turn left onto Rt 77/79. Eastbound turn right onto Rt 77/79. Travel south approximately 6 miles. The entrance to the parking area for Pardon Gray Preserve is on the east side of Main Road (route 77)\, about 0.2 miles south of Seapowet Avenue. It is on the eastern side of Main Road\, one mile north of Tiverton Four Corners. On-site parking available.\nCoordinates for the trailhead: 41° 35.462′ N 71° 11.667′ W
