A challenge …August 1 through September 30, 2013
Bring a friend and join us for one of more than 60 guided walks and events through the scenic views, green spaces and working farms that are Rhode Island’s 47 land trusts.
Join us for Land Trust Days Kickoff Event Thursday, August 1 at Southside Community Land Trust.
Visit this calendar in July and plan to discover Rhode Island’s best outdoor places! Activities will include: guided trail walks, canoe and kayak paddling, star-gazing, naturalist talks, farm tours, geocaching, family festivals and more.
In the meantime, get outdoors:
- RIDEM’s “Great Outdoor Pursuit” with events May 19 through August 17, which includes the Land Trust Days kickoff event.
- Go walking on land trust trails: Visit ExploreRI to find a trail and download trial maps.
- Several Rhode Island Land Trusts offer activities all year - check the website of the land trusts near where you live to learn more.
